Job Opportunity:

Software Tester for a program providing large scale development, testing, deployment and O&M for restricted systems.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will review requirements, identify tests, prepare test procedures, define and develop test data, facilitate pre-test reviews, configure test tools, conduct tests, document test results and regularly collaborate with the customer and development team.

Basic Qualifications:

Five years of generalized experience in all phases of system testing and evaluation.  Experience testing Domino/Lotus Notes and HTML applications. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferably in a Technical or related field. Must have excellent client relationship skills and good coordination skills with knowledge of IT/development lifecycle desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.  Experience in the design, development and implementation of test plans, test cases and test process in the Agile Development process is highly desired.

Position Opportunity:

A restricted program in Reston, Virginia has an immediate need for a lead Configuration Manager/Change Control specialist. The successful candidate will have significant experience as an enterprise change manager/enterprise configuration manager. Experience serving as a member on customer governance boards (CCB,ERB) is desirable. This individual will work closely with customer configuration management lead and provide expertise in the establishment of change management and configuration management processes in the enterprise. He or she will also lead the contractor Enterprise Services group providing Testing, Training, and CM resources to the enterprise. Direct experience with change management within the IT Service Management Framework (ITIL) is highly desired. Experience working as chair or voting member of enterprise CCB, ERB also highly desirable

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years experience in configuration management/change management, with experience in systems engineering, life cycle management, or systems program management. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Experience conducting, planning, configuration control boards, and process management is required. Experience managing small to medium size teams is also essential. Customer service oriented with strong team and interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task, when required. Good oral, written, and presentation skills are mandatory. Ability to perform and complete tasks with minimal or no supervision. Also requires U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with a FS polygraph is REQUIRED.

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies is a plus. Fluency with the following technologies: Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Access, Excel and Project; Lotus Notes; database management; JIRA a plus. Certification in ITIL at the foundation or higher level is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to interact with partners at all levels with demonstrated experience selling to the commercial and high-end residential customers
  • Must have a proven track record with a demonstrated ability to exceed quota selling value over price
  • Must be able to work independently with little direction identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities
  • Strong analytical capabilities necessary (Excel, financial analysis of deals and pricing)
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
